My labor law practice is not all about fancy highrise buildings where I go and sit with my clients during their depositions, or prove-up their case at a mediation or arbitration in a swanky address office tower. Representing workers is about representing people, real people. My clients do not always live in the best part of town. Whether they move after the case is over is another story.

See what looks like a cone in the water? Three decades ago when I was learning how to sail a 27 foot Erickson my instructor gave me an exercise involving that cone, or one where it used to be. I had to stop in front of it, circle it, and back into it.Well, many years later you think I am competent enough to maneuver this 50+ foot twin diesel flybridge around the cone? Looks like I am about to try.

Seriously, why does this need to look like this? I hate to be a complainer, but I am tired of these eyesore construction projects around Los Angeles that do nothing to alleviate traffic, and cause all sorts of nuisances for extended periods of time.

This what drywall mud looks when it is drying. For those of you who think I merely represent workers... Well, my hands are in quite a few construction trades. I am getting close to being done building a waterfront residential/office in Oxnard. This is an upstairs laundry room in the living quarters.
